the final review

On Wednesday March 26th, our class had our final review for our projects. All fifteen of us pinned up our boards around a classroom, and displayed our models directly in front of them. The board consisted of floor plans, elevations, programmatic diagrams, and renderings of each student's design. The models (all at ½ inch scale) provided a more “hands on” representation for viewers. Besides the entire class and other third year students, out presentation was reviewed by Professor Jade Polizzi, her husband Stephen, the TA Ben Bell, former students Mike Trentacosti and Jim Cook, and the representatives for Lama, Bird and Holmes.

How do you feel the final review went?

“I think it went well! It was definitely nerve racking, probably because this was our first actual client, but all the reviewers were so nice, and it was really nice seeing everyone’s hard work come to life.” -Shannon Carlin

“I thought it went great! Being the first one, I felt like I had to open it up accurately. I think my project personally went well, they seemed to like it. I liked the environment of the room we presented in; it felt more inclusive being in a small space, and it felt like we were finally done. It was rewarding and a more enjoyable experience because we made it.” -Logan Kimbrel.
