Shannon “Essie” Carlin is a third year ENVD student in Urban Planning, and an RA for CU Boulder. “I originally joined this praxis for the hands on experience, and to be able to see a project I helped design come to life, but after visiting Lama, I’m not really excited to be part of such an amazing organization, and help build something that can benefit such a great place with great people”. Shannon is a Type 1 Diabetic and is worry for the summer build, because her (albino) complexion will for sure burn.
